Gene’s music is a blend of influences, rooted in the American tradition, drawing from classic soul and funk, to contemporary pop and electronica.
Gene’s vocals and guitar power the live shows of Dr. Spaceman, Portland’s David Bowie tribute, and The Walkaways, Portland’s Phish-covers-cover band.
In addition to singing and guitar-ing, Gene regularly posts up as DJ Gene Machine, playing a mix of classic hip hop, funk, and soul.

We had a fantastic time in Bend last year, so we’re doing it again! Same game plan as last year: Silver Moon Saturday, house party Sunday. Music at night, skiing till we fall over by day!
